The Dauphin Island Restoration Task Force is a group committed to shoreline stabilization, restoration and preservation for Alabama's only coastal barrier island, to keep it viable as an important environmental, tourism and residential resource.

We seek long-term shoreline restoration and beach renourishment for the entire island, and near-term stablization and restoration of the "crisis areas" where the public beach has eroded most.
